Belated

My mom would've been 78 yrs old yesterday, but she decided to retire early 3 years ago and joined my father where there's no network whatsoever that could reach them. I miss them...so much....especially that I am their only child. Reminiscing would be the hardest thing to do without working out my tear duct, so, I tried to mask my emotions by forgetting certain days of the year, such as her birthday, their wedding anniversary, my dad's birthday....and even sometimes....my own natal day. Yesterday, I guess she reminded me of it, coz all of a sudden, I blurted out to my hubby that we will be eating out for nanay's b-day; unfortunately, he had some appointments to commit, so we will be eating out for lunch today instead. And why the heck I am still awake at 0506 hrs...no clue.

Nay, thank you for taking care of the cut in my forehead when I was little. It was dad's fault when the ceiling fan fell. He didn't fix it well. I am so sorry for crying for hours and kept you up all night back then, but I must say, Magnolia Chocolait does keep a wailing child go down. I hope all is well up there. I heard you guys are enjoying your staycation. Must be nice, huh. Oh well....someday, I will be joining you and we will play catch up. But for the meantime, imma take care of my hubby. He doesn't want me to go there yet....he said he'll be ready to let go of me when he's 100 (that means to say I'll be 115...yikes!). Today, he fixed my toothbrush, you know, the kind that you put in a charger stand. I thought I broke it `coz everything just won't connect together. Come to find out, I put everything backwards. If you have time to visit us, please do so, because I am loving every encounter my husband had. When I get home from work, he swears that he saw someone sitting in our living room. Just don't scare him that much. My own belief stops me from seeing you guys, but I guess, your son-in-law has a third eye. Later!
